Asia Vision and Justice (AVAJ) is a regional non-profit organization that proactively fights injustice and advances woke ideas in the Asia-Pacific region. We conduct independent research and investigation, and take initiative to bring positive change. AVAJ is empowered by a team of young passionate professionals and volunteers, who are lawyers, journalists, activists, industry experts, and, above all, visionaries. AVAJ has created a variety of strategic and visionary engagements that leverage both our unique insights and our partners’ strengths. We pride ourselves on having a strong on-the-ground presence in Hong Kong, Singapore, ASEAN countries, and more.
Our Mission
AVAJ is dedicated to fight injustice and to contribute to sustainable development by seeing the world ahead in terms of what it can be. We speak out against tyranny, brutality, inequality, racism and health disparities. We care for war refugees, rights abuse victims and the underprivileged. We call on the international community to pay greater attention to the regional problems, such as environmental crisis, imbalanced and inadequate development.
AVAJ has always had a human-centered approach, in the belief that advancing change for the good of an underprivileged individual is advancing change for the good of all. AVAJ positions itself as an actor and mobilizer in Asian civil society. We're already making an impact by responding to immediate concerns of communities and addressing long-term social challenges with constructive solutions.
